Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What decking services do you offer in Gordon?

We provide custom decking solutions, including timber decking, composite decking and pool decking. We can help plan a new deck or improve an existing outdoor area to suit your property's layout and your needs.

What is the difference between timber and composite decking?

Timber decking offers a natural look with unique grain and colour variations, but it generally requires regular maintenance. Composite decking provides a more consistent finish and usually needs less upkeep. The best option depends on your budget, preferred appearance and maintenance expectations.

Can you build decking around swimming pools?

Yes, we can help plan decking for poolside areas. Material selection is important, as the surface needs to suit wet conditions and provide appropriate slip resistance. The design should also account for drainage and relevant pool safety requirements.

How long does it take to build a deck?

The timeframe depends on the deck's size, design, site access and any preparation or approvals required. Smaller projects may take a few days, while larger or more complex decks can take longer. We can provide a clearer timeframe once the project details are assessed.

How do I choose the right decking contractor in Gordon?

Choose a contractor who can assess your site, explain suitable materials and provide a clear quote. Our decking services in Sydney cover different outdoor needs, from timber decks to composite and pool decking. Site conditions and design requirements can vary between Gordon, Pymble, Killara, Lindfield and St Ives.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently had a fence built by Jake at Willow Wood Projects, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning, Jake was professional, communicative, and clearly passionate about his craft. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered a final product that exceeded my expectations.

The workmanship is top-notch—the fence is sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last. Jake paid close attention to detail and made sure every part of the project was done right. He also kept the worksite clean and completed everything on schedule.

If you’re looking for someone reliable, skilled, and easy to work with, I highly recommend Jake and Willow Wood Projects. I’m thrilled with my new fence and will definitely be calling them again for future projects!
