Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What decking services do you offer in Pymble?

We build custom timber and composite decks, as well as decking for poolside areas. Whether you need a new outdoor platform or want to refresh an existing space, we can help plan a solution around your property's layout and intended use.

What is the difference between timber and composite decking?

Timber has a natural grain and character that can complement garden settings, but it needs ongoing care to maintain its appearance. Composite decking offers a more uniform finish and generally requires less maintenance. Your choice will depend on the look you prefer, your budget and how much upkeep you are comfortable with.

Can you build decking around swimming pools?

Yes, we can help design decking for poolside spaces. The choice of material and surface finish is important in wet areas, so slip resistance, drainage and applicable pool safety requirements should be considered during planning.

How long does it take to build a deck?

Construction time varies according to the deck's dimensions, design, site access and preparation work. A straightforward project may take several days, while a larger or more detailed build may take longer. We can discuss a more accurate timeframe once we understand your project.

How do I choose the right decking contractor in Pymble?

Start by considering your available space, preferred materials and how you plan to use the deck. Our decking services include timber, composite and poolside options. Factors such as garden levels, drainage and access can differ between properties in Pymble, Gordon, Killara, Lindfield and St Ives.
