Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What decking services do you offer in Killara?

We provide custom timber decking, composite decking and pool decking. Our services can accommodate new deck construction and improvements to existing outdoor areas, with the design based on your property's layout and how you plan to use the space.

What is the difference between timber and composite decking?

Timber provides a natural finish with individual grain patterns and colour variations. It generally needs regular maintenance to protect its appearance. Composite decking has a more consistent finish and usually requires less upkeep. Consider your preferred style, budget and maintenance needs before choosing.

Can you build decking around swimming pools?

Yes, poolside decking can be planned to suit the pool's shape and surrounding outdoor area. Material selection, slip resistance, drainage and applicable pool safety requirements should all be considered to help make the space practical and suitable for wet conditions.

How long does it take to build a deck?

The construction period depends on the size of the deck, design details, site access and preparation requirements. A simple deck may take several days, while larger projects can take longer. The expected timeframe can be discussed once the scope of work has been established.

How do I choose the right decking contractor in Killara?

Look for a contractor who understands your property's layout and can explain the construction process, material choices and maintenance requirements. Our decking services cater to different outdoor layouts. Whether your property is in Killara, Gordon, Pymble, Lindfield or St Ives, the design should suit the site's conditions.

From the very beginning, Jake was professional, communicative, and clearly passionate about his craft. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered a final product that exceeded my expectations.

The workmanship is top-notch—the fence is sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last. Jake paid close attention to detail and made sure every part of the project was done right. He also kept the worksite clean and completed everything on schedule.
