Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What decking services do you offer in Lindfield?

We provide custom decking for a range of outdoor settings, including timber decks, composite decks and poolside areas. Each design can be planned around your available space, preferred materials and intended use, whether you are building a new deck or improving an existing one.

What is the difference between timber and composite decking?

Timber decking has natural grain and colour variations that give each deck its own character, although it needs regular care. Composite decking offers a more uniform appearance and generally requires less maintenance. Your decision will depend on your preferred look, budget and willingness to maintain the surface.

Can you build decking around swimming pools?

Yes, we can help plan decking around a swimming pool. The design should account for drainage, the conditions around the pool and a suitable slip-resistant surface. Applicable pool safety requirements should also be considered when planning the surrounding area.

How long does it take to build a deck?

The time needed depends on the deck's size, design, site conditions and preparation work. A straightforward project may take several days, while a larger deck with more complex construction requirements may take longer. We can discuss the likely timeframe once the project scope is clear.

How do I choose the right decking contractor in Lindfield?

A suitable contractor should assess the site, discuss your budget and recommend materials that match your outdoor plans. Our decking services include several options for residential outdoor spaces. Drainage, ground levels and access may influence projects in Lindfield, as well as Gordon, Pymble, Killara and St Ives.

From the very beginning, Jake was professional, communicative, and clearly passionate about his craft. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered a final product that exceeded my expectations.

The workmanship is top-notch—the fence is sturdy, beautifully finished, and built to last. Jake paid close attention to detail and made sure every part of the project was done right. He also kept the worksite clean and completed everything on schedule.
